March 2010 is Nutrition Month

March is Nutrition Month® across Canada. This year’s theme, “Celebrate Food…From Field to Table!”
focuses on a more in depth look at our food supply and provide healthy tips for healthy eating and food preparation.  



 

Local Valley Kick off Event:
When:  Saturday February 27th
Where: Michener Lounge, Student Union Building, Acadia University
Time: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

We will be showing a brief film “The Edible Schoolyard”
Guest Speakers include Kathy Aldous, from Slow Food
Dietitian and Cookbook author, Mary Sue Waisman will answer your food and nutrition questions
Acadia Nutrition Students will be present
Please join us to celebrate Nutrition Month 2010!
