Acadia ALERT - Campus Closed (Weather)

Today, Monday, February 23, 2026, Acadia University will remain closed, with the exception of residences and Wheelock Dining Hall, due to the forecasted weather. Wheelock Dining Hall may adjust their hours due to the weather and any change in hours will be communicated through Residence Life.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Any events scheduled for today will be postponed or cancelled.

Acadia Professor Chair-Elect of Dietitians of Canada Board

Acadia Professor Elected Chair-Elect of Dietitians of Canada Board

 Dr. Catherine Morley, PhD, RD, FDC became Chair-Elect of Dietitians of Canada (DC) at the association’s June 16, 2011 Annual General Meeting during the National Conference in Edmonton. The appointment to the Board is for three years (as Chair-Elect, Chair, and Director At Large). As Chair (2012-13), Catherine will represent DC at the International Congress of Dietetics in Sydney, Australia where she will make several research presentations, and curate and host a ‘Dietitian As Artist’ event.

Dietitians of Canada (www.dietitians.ca) is the national professional association for dietitians in Canada.
