Engineering Student wins C.D. Howe Memorial Foundation Engineering Award

Congratulations to Ivan Curry School of Engineering student Ryan Haley.  He has just been awarded the 2011 C.D. Howe Memorial Foundation Engineering Award. It is worth $22,500 over 3 years ($7,500 per year). Matthew Dugie, also from Acadia's Ivan Curry School of Engineering was the winner for 2010.

This is a national engineering scholarship and only one male and one female student are awarded the scholarship each year.  Each University is allowed to nominate two students each year, one male student and one female student.

This is the third time Acadia University wins this scholarship in seven years, as David Langille from the Ivan Curry School of Engineering also won the award in 2007.
