Jodrey School of Computer Science Participates in "Robot Madness"

On March 17, 2010 the Jodrey School of Computer Science partnered with the local Ross Creek Centre for the Arts to deliver a day of “Robot Madness” to a group of students on March break.  Nineteen youths, ages 8 to 10, learned about two different robots, and built mazes that would challenge the robots.

Under the direction of the School, a third year Computer Science student, and a highschool co-op student (who has been offered admittance to Acadia in Computer Science) prepared and delivered the exciting course material.

The Director of the Ross Creek program said, I've never seen a  bunch of 8-10 year olds as fascinated as this. Thank you!”.
