Internal Collaboration

Acadia faculty are conducting research in areas that could complement the research focus of a Chair in Coastal Wetland Ecosystems. Research areas in which much synergy could be achieved include: conservation and wildlife management, biodiversity, watershed “health” indicators, water quality, estuarine ecology, species at risk, behavioural ecology, landscape ecology, animal-sediment relationships, environmental impacts, applied geomatics, biological engineering, environmental chemistry, limnology, physical oceanography and ecosystem modelling.
