External Collaborators
In 2008, Acadia and Ducks Unlimited Canada signed a MOU for a 10 year research partnership with the intent of bringing up to $1.0 million of direct funding to Acadia to support wetland and waterfowl research initiatives. Ducks Unlimited relies on science and research to guide its wetland conservation program. This research partnership is unique among Canada’s private conservation organizations, and offers ready-made collaboration and funding opportunities for an incoming Chair.
